The tour starts from Athinios port and our first destination ill the famous volcano of Santorini! We stay here for approximately 1,5 hours where you have the chance to walk the volcano’s ridge with your guide who will explain you everything about the history and geology of the volcano before we continue towards our next stop – the Hot Springs! We stop at the island of Palea Kameni where the famous hot springs are located on the west side. We will stop here for 30 min at a distance of 30 meters from the shallow waters of Agios Nicholao’s beach. The waters are mixed with mud full of sulfur, iron and other metals coming from the volcano. We continue our tour and will visit the island of Thirassia. Thirassia is a miniature of what Santorini used to be several years ago. The island of Thirassia is only 9 sq.km in size and have approximately 300 permanent inhabitants. We will stay here for 2 hours to have time to explore this picturesque traditional village as well as taste the authentic Santorinian cuisine. Should you wish, you can also walk to the main village of Manolas, which is the capital of Thirassia. The view over Santorini is spectacular from here! Good to bring with you on the tour is swimsuit ( dark colors are recommendable), Towel, Sun Hat and comfortable shoes (avoid flip flops) – a moderate amount of walking is involved
