The experience begins at the beach of Ammoudara, Agios Nikolaos. After getting to know each other, we’ll have a short conversation – introduction about the use of kayak.
Then, we will lead you to the blue waters of Ammoudara towards Almyros beach, where the river meets the sea.

There, we will have the opportunity to swim either freely or with the help of a snorkel. After a short break, where we will enjoy a traditional snack on the island – big rock opposite of Almyros, we will go to the “Listi Spilio”. There, we will have the opportunity to discuss about the history and the tradition of the region.
The final point of the experience is the the beach of Ammoudara, where we will taste Cretan traditional recipes.

No previous experience is required on the sea kayak, as the route is easy. Moreover, children under the age of 4 years old, can follow you for free on this experience on your board.
The experience starts at 8am to avoid the hot afternoon sun and the total duration is about 4 hours. The snacks will include fruit and traditional flavors. All the necessary equipment will be provided by us, as well as the necessary instructions, so that experience will be remembered forever. Let’s enjoy it!

Who can join this experience?

Everyone can join the sea kayaking trip. Kids under 4 years old can join for free on the same board with the parent.

What should i bring/ wear?

Participants could bring a bottle of water, a hat, a T-shirt, sunscreen, a towel, a swimsuit and an extra pair of shoes in case your feet gets wet. Perfect shoes can be lightweight trainers, flip-flops, sandals or sea shoes. Avoid bulky shoes.
We recommend that you do not eat 2 hours before the experience.

Transfer policy

Price does not include transfer as to arrange it however you like.

Transfer by us from your hotel its 30€ per person with 5 person minimum.

The cost is 20€ for 8 people minimum.
