who have cultivate the fertile surrounding grounds for centuries. We visit a women's
corporative and we have a close look at how they bake and cook, using techniques passed down
to them from their ancestors. These lovely ladies, with all their experience and knowledge, will
teach how to create these local delicacies for ourselves.
Wine and people of Crete have walked hand in hand through the millennia, thus an introduction
to contemporary wine production technics run by a couple of young scientist winemakers, is
an integral part of your visit to Crete. Here we enjoy and compere the flavors of Cretan wines
as they are developed, with the combination of scientific wine-making and the ancient terroir
Cretan varieties.
We conclude our tour with a cooking demo, in a converted Minoan Settlement, a young chef
demonstrates cooking techniques and executes local recipes that we will later enjoy, unfolding
the richness of Cretan cuisine in front of your eyes and enlightening all of your senses.
