The Patras Archaeological Museum is housed and operates since 2009 in a new building, since the until then museum couldn’t stand up to the needs of the third biggest city in Greece, with a big port and continuous financial-social-cultural development. In the exhibition you can see findings from Patras, the surrounding area and generally West Achaia, which cover the time span from 3000BC to the 4th century AD.

At a distance of 20 kms west of Chania lay the remains of the Ancient Diktynna temple. A hermit location, due to a rough dirt road with deep water and sand iterchanging with pebbles, rewarding the brave ones.
Around the middle of the 6th century BC, the Agora of Athens was founded on the northwest of the Sacred Hill of Acropolis. For the following four centuries, it has been the center of the social and financial life of the city. Around the Agora, various public buildings and shrines were erected.
An established and preferred choice of those who prefer to be close to the center. Combine the visit to the beach with a trip to Nerospilia, a cave with wonderful stalactities and stalagmites.
