In the museum you can find exhibits that cover the times from 8th century BC to 2nd century AD. The exhibition is housed at the old Mayor Manor, a building of the 19th century. It is a two storey building with four exhibition areas.
The aim of the exhibition is not only to provide info on the games in ancient times, but also to initiate the visitor in what the Olympics were.
The Asclepium was since the ancient times the most famous monument of Kos. It was located close to the ancient city, and was full of marvelous statues, works of famous artists.
An especially unique island, blessed with beautiful beaches, and also with a history depicted through the ages.
